So many of iKONs songs, especially bsides are timeless. I think that a lot of kpop is really looking for the next big sound or trying to start a trend but ikon bc they’ve always had a large hand in writing, composing, and producing have been able to really stay true to their “sound” which I think are “simple” beats but with more complex or interesting arrangements. I’m not a music person so i don’t really know how to explain it but that’s how I think about it. Bc even when they do a rap or a ballad or synth pop or rock it all still sounds like them.

About iKONICs following iKON’s tour, i thought i wasn’t normal but I met friends who does the same so their effect wasn’t just my imagination 😆. The first 3 concerts have different setlists, even if some of the same songs are played it didnt really matter since they manage to show a different vibe each time. There’s a term in kpop world called post-concert amnesia, it means that you dont remember what happened through the concert but wouldn’t forget the fun you had, and thats what happened with me. Every time i attend, I don’t remember the boys performing but I remember partying so hard and leaving happier than before thus making me obsessed with seeing them live even more. I couldn’t get enough 😆. I watched 4 concerts in a span of a year. It is really a shame, but i guess I like the fandom better now being through a lot u would know that the ones left are genuinely people who care and will support iKON no matter what. Of course we love people recognizing and getting into iKON but I guess iKON and iKONICs have come to terms with where they currently are and at their happiest regardless. And yes, I wouldn’t call iKON as idols I’d rather call them artists or pro performers. Somehow whenever they make new music/choreography, its always geared towards the concept that they’ll be performing it onstage with a crowd or in a concert that doesn’t leave any spots for audience to get bored of them. If you noticed, alot of their choreos have them facing on different sides, in a circle, some facing the back which is exactly perfect for concerts so everyone from the crowd, regardless of where they’re placed would see one member facing them. Just as they’ve gained freedom through their new company, Jay needed to enlist for military and the other members would soon follow in the next yrs. We estimated that iKON will come back as 6 members again by 2027/2028. A lot of time were wasted, but unlike before where we where always anxious if they’re gonna leave the industry or not, they assured that they’ll be here for a long time. Heck, BOBBY even said that they’re gonna perform for the rest of their lives. iKONICs are so lucky to have iKON. We really feel loved 🥹.

I wonder if there have been any iKONICs that's have followed them to several venues from 1 of their tours, cos I'd be curious to hear the different ways iKON switch it up! ( I just got to the part where you mentioned you've been to 4 tours haha ) were they in the same year or over the last 3 years? AHH that's really a shame that at that moment In time only the idols actively promoting in Korea got more support. I'd be curious to know how big iKON would be if they debuted now. As idols have a lot more support world wide as well as the beginning of big labels such as HYBE ( Seventeen - Enypen ) no having connections in USA with Justin Beibers label. They really blew me away in Kingdom season 2 , I really didn't know what to expect from them but they were so cool. They almost didn't fit stereotypical polished idol look but they also performed like crazy. Now I've gone into more depth the past iKON weeks on my YT + W.I.N it all makes sense haha. 2023-09-09 14:07:48 +0000 UTCiKON Tour reaction is finally here!!😆 Bling Bling has been iKON’s opening concert song ever since it came out, now it’s Tantara and you wouldn’t believe how hype you can get just by that!! iKON are indeed monster rookies when they debuted last 2015 and they started touring months after that which is insane for a rookie group back then. Would you believe that they knew how to handle a crowd as a rookie! They had a big fanbase back then, it started going down from 2016-2017 since kpop groups need to be active in Korea to stay relevant?(not rlly sure why, wasn’t in the fandom back then). But since they were touring already, korean fans was hungry for contents and they felt neglected i guess? Thankfully, iKON redeemed their glory in 2018 with Love Scenario thus explains the huge crowd in this 2019 tour. The fandom was massive in 2018-2019, they managed to win Daesang(Grand Awards) from one award show to another which is insane since they had to compete with the big kpop groups and they managed to win all that!! No one expected it, but iKON deserved it. This explains how some of the groups who participated in Kingdom idolized iKON as well. They were in YG, one of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea but their promotions suck. At their prime, iKON was well-known but not everyone knew who the members are. They’re popular as iKON but not the members. A lot of people left the fandom after B.I. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions as an iKONIC, you would see the decline on the fans in Kingdom as there aren’t alot of fans left but if there’s one good thing they got from Kingdom, it’s exposure. With BOBBY having a family and them turning 7/8 years last 2021, the anxiety was intense for the remaining iKONICs as that might be the time that they’ll retire or disband. But what I like about this fandom so much is that, iKON has been through alot along with their fans, they could’ve easily disband/settle down as they were not getting the same response as they did back then (despite the immaculate performances and songs they bring out each time) but they chose to stay in the industry for the people that stayed and waited for them. The only reason why they’re still performing is for the fans that are still here and they’ve said it countless times. They left yg since they were gatekeeped for so long, limited comebacks, limited concerts and a lot of hiatus. Now, in a new and smaller company, they’re doing everything they want releasing songs anytime they want. And even going for their First World Tour!! They’ve been a group for 9/10 years but it made me sad thinking about how this is just their first world tour. They could’ve gotten bigger if the company just handled them right but I’m happy regardless that they’re now free. You can see when they perform now that they’re not here for the popularity but just giving back to everyone who waited and stayed with them. I could say a lot more but this has been too long, iKON concert is a must-watch! Sadly, they’re done with their Europe tour but i think they’re planning on coming back so I hope you could watch once they do. As I’ve said, I’m fairly new in the fandom (Kingdom Era 2021), been to 4 concerts of them so far and I never get tired of doing so. Concert tickets in my country range from 225-300 GBP and it is hella expensive, since I’m only stanning one group u might think its not much but since I’m trying to see them each time I’m able to flying to other countries to see them, I’m prolly spending as much as multi stans do 😆. While concerts in Korea are cheaper from 70-100 GBP, so they have that perk and privilege!! As for my favorite songs from this setlist so far, I can’t pick as each song has a different vibe to them! It’s just Perfect like the last song Perfect! 😂gratefully, iKON isn’t a group that just focus on one genre or their strong point and they keep on exploring other genre so you wouldn’t feel that their songs sound the same!! They could go hiphop, rock, ballad, r&b, pop, edm, heck even trot 😆. Looking forward to the rest of this tour reaction and other iKON reactions in the future.
