OKAY. Here are a few tidbits I've gathered about this video. First of all, the song's English title is in fact You Go Ahead. And from very brief mentions on Twitter, the lyrics are about how he is trying to reconcile Yunho the Man and U-Know the performer. How he's sort of always chasing the star version of himself. I also kind of get the vibe with the clocks and his frustration at the beginning that he was just waiting sooooo long to be able to BE U-Know again. Also! I think the same team that did the Thank U video were the ones who did this video too, so that explains the cinematography. Finally I've just personally noticed that while SM is included in the production, they don't really tend to promote the Japanese stuff as much of the Korean stuff. Thats left to the Avex company. Changmin's Japanese mv didn't get as much sort of commercial promo either. I think causal fans of their Korean stuff probably just don't know about their Japanese work. Ah well. The whole album drops wendesday this week and I am VERY VERY EXCITED. and then I believe in March we are getting a TOHO ALBUMMMM! And then at some point this year a full Korean comeback!!!!! 2022-02-08 00:52:43 +0000 UTCThere is a pretty big marketing push for him in Japan because this is for his Japanese album that's coming out in about...15 hours. Because of the acrimony of the Tohoshinki split, the relationship between SM (their Korean Label) and Avex (their Japanese label) has never been the same. There really isn't a lot of cross promotion for them between countries. That also means no subtitles. Avex does not care about the international market all that much.
