Arlene, just want you to know, I always come back to see what insight you have added. I enjoy having you as a watch friend 😁. Yes, with 11 years dance experience (at this point)and parents owning a studio even at 14 years old I wouldn’t consider him a bit of an expert. I haven’t realized he taught classes before. That’s so amazing. He had to have done that at 12 or 13 years old because he moved to Korea at 13. He is so impressive.

Favorite quote, "I'm not even mad at him". This when Niki refused to be leader. I agree with Melissa, great catch. I didn't pick that up the first few times I watched this. The producers who recommended Jaeho should have said something about it. I think NIki gets the experience because his family owns a dance studio. I believe he even has taught a class at his young age. Chris I hope you are feeling better.

Yay! We’re back! Though I’m sorry your back hurts 🙁. If you need days off from sitting, take them. We’ll cope. Favorite quote: “And of course it has to be raining…” 😂 The sky assisting MNets editing team to perfection. So here is the thing that just gets to me with this episode and the last. You’re probably going to think I’m silly, but I’ll preface by saying one of my jobs is to look for inaccuracies. So while I don’t go through life upset about every tiny thing that isn’t right, big inaccuracies drive me bonkers. Especially if they undermine someone I think isn’t getting the credit they deserve. It has to do with the whole Ni-Ki, Nicholas, Hanbin, Jaeho group thing. So by this point it’s easy to tell Ni-Ki knows his stuff. That he is acknowledged as one of the best, if not THE best, dancer in the program. So he, Nick and Jaeho are practicing for a couple ish days. Ni-Ki says, “This isn’t working. The chemistry isn’t exactly right between us. It would be better with Hanbin because we know he meshes with our style”. Hanbin ponders for a while and they decide to change. He get 2-3 hrs? of practice before the producers show up. The producers go, “Hanbin, you are off the whole time. Maybe you should consider switching back” (uh, yeah he’s off with just a few hrs to learn it 🙄). So then they switch back because that was the recommendation from the producers. Here comes the competition. You immediately after (maybe not my fav quote but certainly helps make my point lol)- “My only wish is that they would have been more connected. As the three of them together.” Producers problem with them? - Jaeho didn’t quite match the energy. But then they tried to push it off like he only had 2 days to learn the choreo. No. He had the entire time save a few hrs. Turns out Ni-Ki is just brilliant at anything that has to do with dance and knows what he’s taking about and I’m not buying the editing attempts lol. Ok. Rant over. Told you it’s really nothing that just bothers me every time anyways. The only other thing from this episode I wanted to add is I love how Rain handled everything, but especially Ni-Ki. He gave his speech to everyone in ground, but then ended it with, “And Ni-Ki can help you”. He knew who needed to be the leader but also saw how defeated Ni-Ki was just days earlier when he visited after the competition. He knew exactly what was going on and wasn’t going to let Ni-Ki get away with not being his best version of himself and giving all he’s capable of which goes beyond dance. I loved it.
