I am so thankful for the Status they have where they can be creative, and in the case of this album, Changmin said every song will be a different genre and none of the genres will be standard kpop. I listened to the little 30 second Devil teaser today, and it has this almost Americana folk sound. But I also read somewhere that it's a type of R&B. I'm excited either way. TVXQ never disappoints. I think one of my favorite parts of this video was that the scene in the hotel room with the typewriter was a nod to The Shining. Someone on twitter even did a side by side screenshot of it and a scene in the movie and the carpet had the same pattern! All I know is Devil is going to deliver, and I set my alarm for an hour earlier than normal tomorrow to watch it and listen to the album before getting ready for work because I'm gonna need a moment lmao.
