Slight Change to Tiers
Added 2020-05-18 06:16:05 +0000 UTCSo I spoke with a few other creators about frame rates and realized that most people just render in 24 or 30 FPS. I usually render in 60. I've come to the conclusion that doubling my render time (specially for the longass animations I make occasionally) aren't worth it. Plus 30 FPS looks a bit more cinematic in certain circumstances.
Because of this, I'm dropping my default frame rate back to 30. Some creators like BulgingS render in 60 but my animation style favors the more 'rigid' movement I see in lower frame rates, I find.
So yeah. Because of this, there are some minor changes to our $2 and $5 tiers respectively, namely.
$2 Tier
- 1080p at 30 FPS ---> 720p at 30 FPS at medium bitrate
$5 Tier
- 1080p at 60 FPS ---> 1080p at 30 FPS at high bitrate
And that's about it, really. It's not super huge, but it's my way of making the two tiers more distinct. Hope everyone is staying safe!
