Hello! For me it is very important to remove the strange or additional characters that have in their name some files, because I have more than 50G of cc and the game takes more time to read these characters because it does not recognize them so I optimize a little loading time to start the game. It also goes through a procedure to not generate random townies with cc. Mmm... is a topic a little unknown to me because there is a program that does this to separate the cc repeated but personally I have not tried and do not know if it spoils your cc folder, I do everything manually but I can investigate a little more on this topic.
