DILYANA FROM BULGARIA

Just wanted to share this beautiful photo of a set I created together with Dilyana a few days ago! She's from Bulgaria and is living in Berlin for a few years already. Her story really touched me, since she really had problems with being a model for nude photography and I was just super happy she got in contact with me and asked for collaboration. It was just super lovely to meet her and we talked forever on our shooting day. She told me everything about her journey in nude photography..
When her family heard about her doing this, they really got aggressive and wanted her to stop modeling, since it's not welcome in Bulgaria and her family really had issues with the whole topic. They wanted her to dress up, to stop modeling. But every time someone told her to stop, she wanted to have another shooting to express herself – as a proud and self confident woman, as a proud and self-confident mother, who is free to do whatever she wants to do. I think it's beautiful to see someone like her, not to say how awesome it is to work with someone who is this strong. She told me that she wouldn't wanna go back to Bulgaria because people there don't seem to be that open-minded and she really enjoys this kind of modeling – it makes her days special and gives her photos that she loves to look back on in a few years from now, and also it's just pure fun to create nude art.
