Context for that “my good deeds are like period blood” is the book of Isaiah in the Bible mentions how God sees our good deeds or actions as filthily rags which in Bible times means what a woman would wear during her menstrual cycle.

Let's keep it 1000 Lecrae wasn't spitting anything that made you have to think twice or break anything down. He was just spitting things that was real, and straight forward in this song. Normally when other rappers do this though like Logic or Game or rappers who don't really use heavy metaphors you say "it's cool, but he's not really saying anything" My guess is you like this so much, because the Kendrick and Drake topic is still fresh. If it wasn't then I don't think you would mess with it so heavy. That's just my opinion though 😂 Nonetheless the song was deep. This is why Pac still remains #1 in most people's eyes. He not only made you dance, and fuck shit up, but he wanted you to feel too. I be seeing first time women reactors cry over his stuff
