Man F*CK YouTube! They are owned by Google/Alphabet and they don't care about anyone or anything. I do digital marketing for a living and have to deal with them everyday and they do this in every aspect of their business. If you advertise with Google Ads and you are doing well they will suspend your ads, if your YouTube videos are doing well they will do what they did to you, if you do good SEO and rank really well they will come up with some "Update" to lower your rankings. The whole company is a joke and just want money. In this situation I'm not sure how it helps them as it seems like you were bringing them more money...But then again, them removing monetization falls right into what I was saying. Sorry about this man, but you will get it back as long as you keep at them! To be honest it sounds like somebody reported you, most likely over and over, and brought you to their attention. The good thing is a lot of time it's automated, the significant review part is confusing... You need to ask them if you can get a phone call or a phone number to speak with someone or you will be in a big circle with them forever.
