2025-05-06 04:43:12 +0000 UTCPoor Harry saw his parents when he dueled with Voldemort. It was like a flash memory sort of thing that came out of Voldemort's wand. Memories of the last spells that his wand had cast (all to kill in Voldemort's case). So in reverse order it was Cedric, the groundskeeper from the start of the movie, Lily Potter, and James Potter. That's how Harry saw them. Poor kid. Also, I think it's so funny that the 3 trials for the Triwizard Tournament are not very good as spectator sports lol. The crowd did get to see a bit of action with the dragons, but when Harry went, all of his battle was flying around the school, far from the crowd. Then in the 2nd trial, the crowd was just standing on docks for an hour, staring at the lake's surface, waiting for something to happen. And the same with the maze, haha! Not a huge deal, but it always makes me laugh to think about how the crowd must be so bored during the challenges.

2025-05-05 15:30:36 +0000 UTCRon is the 5th or 6th boy in his family, not a girl his mom wanted, not the smartest, not the strongest, all of his clothes, books, even his wand I believe was hand-me-down, he's friends with the brightest witch of her time and the boy who lived. in the first movie there was a mirror that shows you your deepest desires, and Ron saw himself as a Quiddich champion, his dippest desire is simply to be recognized. Triwizard championship promises eternal glory, and he didn't have a chance to even try, so yeah he's angy for a bit
