Mob Sorcery - Gabriela Cover

Best unicorn girl, Gabriela, has nabbed herself a cover. She won't necessarily be the cover girl for Mob 10, but that's how many covers I have now, so somebody will have to be tenth eventually.

Gaby's one of my favorite characters in Mob, but she's also one I wasn't sure would come out well on a cover. She has small tits, short hair, is a unicorn (seems to be bad juju for covers), is associated with a bike, and has an odd personality. This made the cover more involved than usual (although not in a bad way), with a fair bit of back and forth before the sketch and even some major changes to the sketch of Gaby. The pose ended up as a halfway house between my original idea of Gaby leaning against her bike and facing forward and the suggestion of Gaby facing away with her ass facing the reader (which I was wary of, as the pose would have been sexy, but left a lot less room for Gaby herself).

As it is, I'm really happy with the final version of the cover. I think Gaby looks mostly how you'd imagine her from how she acts and is described. The two sketches are included as well.

As a sidenote, the full majesty of her massive Indian doesn't quite make it in. I'm not willing to risk copyright issues by including logos or attempting to get my artist to use a 3D model of an actual Indian bike. But it's a decent enough stand-in that captures the essence of what she rides.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the art, even if it'll be a while before it shows up on an actual book (as usual). I'm currently thinking about an omnibus for the first four Mob books, and what to do there - currently leaning toward a cool (if expensive) cover with the three Lionetti wolfgirls.
