If you haven't been following the chapters on Patreon, then I guess I'll say something.
This is my biggest book ever (not just in Mob, but ever).
This story blew out in size as the lead-up to finishing the Yakuza arc expanded massively, particularly with the size of the battles and establishing the next arc properly. Lots of fun stuff happens, Vince deals with some long overdue shit, big characters start moving, and people die (and nearly die). I think everyone who has enjoyed the series will like this one.
Once this book comes out, I am going on a vacation somewhere. Still don't know where or exactly when, but I am fucking off for a while.

I recommend Taipei. It's like a fusion between Japan and China and more welcoming of foreigners than either. Great food, great night markets, good public transportation. And if you wanna leave the city, they have an actual Japanese Shinkansen running the length of the island and some absolutely stunning national parks and scenery
