Neural Wraith Draft Cover Preview
Added 2023-01-27 13:01:00 +0000 UTCI'm still undecided on rewriting the first few chapters of Spellblade 6 and don't have the planning post ready yet, so have something different.
This is a draft of the Kushiel cover for a future Neural Wraith book. Usually I share these only briefly to solicit feedback, but in this case it's more just to showcase something cool.
I want Kushiel to have a mixed arrogant/casual vibe, and I think this draft captures that perfectly. I think her size comes across pretty well, between the massive cannon and the size of the truck (whose boxy shape you might recognize - I didn't ask for it specifically, but it does amuse me so it can stay).
The original draft showed off a lot more skin but I want Neural Wraith not to be too spicy in that regard. That might set up expectations that won't be met.
While I don't plan to request any major changes, let me know if you did have any feedback or thoughts.

Yeah, I wanted a "comfy cyberpunk" vibe, contrasted against her gun and armour, which matches Kushiel. So I'm really happy with he draft.

2023-01-28 01:13:27 +0000 UTCI love this cover art. This is exactly what I think of when I imagine Kushiel. Much the same way I resonates with Seraph with Whiskey in hand Kushiel with a soft drink just fits.
