Heretic Spellblade 6 - Cover

First 3 chapters in a day or two, but for now, enjoy the cover. I think many of you have already seen it, but here it is for those who haven't.

Seraph is the cover girl this time. She's not necessarily the primary focus of the book, but she should get some significant character advancement as she become a Champion-Bastion hybrid.

With that said, I'm really happy with how the artist depicted Seraph here. She has the mixture of elegance and seductiveness I try to give her, her dress is gorgeous, and her tonfas are included as well.

The one downside is that it's a full body cover, but I don't think the intricacies of covers matter as much for me anymore. The Neural Wraith covers show far less skin than most stuff in the genre, and even this cover is tame compared to some. So it mostly gets to look great, and the improved color balance of the full body shot hopefully pays off.

As for the chapters, the start has been frustrating. The book picks up right after the end of Book 5, but I'm struggling more than I expected to turn that into immediate action. If no better ideas come to me to fix the first few chapters in a day, I'll just post them as is and consider whether to fix them in final edits. The book itself should be complete within a month.
