2023-01-22 14:20:44 +0000 UTCThanks, and I figured you had read it and forgot. My relative lack of success is at least partially related to the audio problems, but I think part of it is just luck. I've seen some authors do far better on Audible after a middling Amazon release, whereas I'm the opposite. It feels like more effort than it's worth to puzzle out why, so I prefer to leave the audio stuff to publishers and just focus on writing.

And apparently I actually did read it back then. 🤦♂️ (Although in the US it apparently went up the last day of November which I guess is par for the course since I believe you’ve said you’re in Australia which from our perspective makes you as being from the future. 🤣) As far as the money situation goes, I wonder if that’s partially because you’ve had a bunch of problems with your audio. The authors I’ve heard say that are all long established and have a lot of fans that don’t seem to actually read the printed word. Hopefully for you that just means you’ve got a lot of growth potential there? 😇 Anyway, good luck with the audiobook release! Even if I don’t care for them hopefully a lot of other people do.
