With all those trees performance does suffer in places.
Release will have several density levels availlable ( this one is "ALL" ).
Comments
If the track is "simple" (not too big, not too many tree textures) it can take 2 to 3 hours (one evening). Most of the time though it takes more time : 2 to 3 evenings at least, sometimes much more (when my tree detection algorithm doesn't work as intended, or when I need to create new trees, etc...)
