I always loved the idea of Pokemon gradually evolving from one species to another, rather than the evolution happening immediately. I wanted to show that off with Aspen, who is still somewhere in between a sneasel and a sneasler!
I got a lot of help with the trio's adult designs from Night! She drew them a while back and I took a lot of inspiration from her take on them ^^
