I am just now getting the same problem, I deleted my whole house and just put a fridge and a oven and a counter on the lot and they can eat the food now so much be that the house is buggy hope this helps :)

Its definitelly helping, yes! I did noticed some random sims glitching, but at least now they can eat! Thank you dear! I was also having issues with doing homework and other actions, will continue testing to see if removing all beds will finally stop this mayhem lol

But I also noticed sometimes the game won't load at all unless you do it that way please let me know if this is working for you

Hey I've been doing some testing and when you start the game load it and press play go into the house you are wanting to play but build don't play take out all cc beds and put the game beds save go to world view hit the play household try eating it works for me now

hi! so sorry to bother you, but do you have any plans for making high school years function better? my sims aren’t able to attend prom or sneak out and it’s really disappointing.

Hmm. The welcome wagon visitors ate their nasty fruitcake, but my sims wouldn't. Thought it was the fruitcake's fault, lol. I did have one sim prepare a meal and call to meal, though, because all they had to eat was that fruitcake. Didn't realize this was a problem outside of the fruitcake issue. 😄

U I Extension IS updated. Weerbesu even says it. Check again.

but ui cheats is not updated, I would take it out of the game.

I've realised that if you use the 'Call to Meal' option, they will sit and eat

yeah, a lot of people are having this problem, not sure whats triggering it, cause sometimes they manage to eat, others just glitch, its like they get reseted :/

Hi Carl, do you know anything about sims not being able to eat? My sims glitch out when trying to eat, I only have mccc in game, I dont know whats causing this.
