The past few weeks have had a lot going on, some good and bad but I'll try be brief and keep it to stuff that affects the project.
To start off, my old PC died on me. I suspect either the CPU or MB, no data was lost and even if it was, I keep backups. The PC served me well, but instead of replacing old gen hardware I decided on a whole new PC that's more up to date as I figured I'd take this as an excuse to finally do so. Besides it'll help significantly with speeding up my work even if it'll a lot to do so.
I've also decided that while I'm changing PC I should look into other more suitable software for the base animations too. So I spent a few days researching potential options and have been practicing with one I think will work. An animated preview of the work using it will be posted shortly after this post.
All this has delayed where I want to be at with the project as I wanted to try release Chapter 1 at the end of this month or soon after but that won't be happening now. I'll see how I progress over the coming month.
I really appreciate your support but I just wanted to remind everyone that it'll be out for free for everyone once ready for a release build. I can't stress that enough as this project is something I do in my spare time, so progress can be slow and there is no need to support me to play released updates.
