More War Core upgrade path information.

I was tweaking some things on War Core 2 and thought I'd share the Barracks upgrade tree. 


Barracks/Armory addon is 100 resources, the following are resource costs to level and the various level unlocks. Infantry mechs improve each level with accuracy, fire rate, durability, and maneuverability. 

Level 0: 100. Infantry mechs unlocked.

Level 1: 200. Armory addon unlocks. Basic targeting, imp heat sink, enhanced armor upgrades.

Level 2: 250. Machine gun teams, heavy barrel, plasma grenades.

Level 3: 300.

Level 4: 350. Mortar teams.

Level 5: 400. Heavy machine gun teams. Sniper team.

Level 6: 450. 1st weapons mount unlocked. Stealth pack unlock for snipers.

Level 7: 500. Combat shields, enhanced melee.

Level 8: 550. 2nd weapons mount unlocked.

Level 9: 600. 3rd weapons mount unlocked.

Level 10: 650. 4th weapons mount unlocked, elite infantry status upgrade available.

Units:

Infantry Mech: five resources and 5 unit points.

Weapons team unlocked at level two with armory/light mech factory/machine shop.

1. machine gun team: Two infantry mechs and a 30 cal machinegun. Requires 20 resource and unit points.

2. Mortar team: three infantry mechs and a 60mm mortar: Mortar caliber will improve at higher levels. Requires 30 unit points and resources.

3. Heavy machinegun team. Three infantry mechs and one fifty cal mg. Requires 30 unit points and resources.

4. Sniper teams. Pair of infantry mechs, one with extended range, very powerful weapon. Lighter armor than standard mech and slow rate of fire for main rifle. Team requires 25 unit points and resources. Limited to one team per command post level.

Gear upgrades.

1. Basic targeting package, 10% accuracy bonus. 50 resources to unlock.

2. Improved heat sink, 10% rate of fire increase. 50 resources to unlock. 

3. Enhanced armor protection, 15% survivability upgrade, 5% move speed reduction. 50 resources, units require 1 more resource to construct. Enhanced armor protection debuff is removed for all infantry level 7 or higher. 

4. Plasma grenades. One resource point per grenade, starts with max of two per infantry mech.

5. Heavy barrel, 15% range increase, requires 75 resources.

6. Weapons mount. Adds second weapon under rifle, pistol caliber or shotgun. Requires 75 resources to unlock, additional 1 resource per mech.

7. Stealth pack. 50% concealment advantage for sniper teams, active camo. Requires 75 to unlock and increases resource cost of unit to 30. 

8. Combat shields. Shield carried and later mounted onto left arm. 15% durability enhancement. Requires 100 resources to unlock and an additional 1 resource per mech.

9. Enhanced melee. Bayonets, tactical hatchets, and improved frame are added with this upgrade. Requires 100 resources to unlock and an additional 1 resource per mech.

10. 2nd weapons mount. Grenade launcher over left shoulder. Grenade capacity increased to five with in the field reloads over time. Requires 150 resources to unlock and an additional 1 resource per unit for the launcher and one per grenade magazine.

11. 3rd weapons mount. Off hand now can be mounted with an submachine gun. Shorter range but higher rate of fire. Requires 200 resources to unlock and 1 additional resource per mech.

12. 4th weapons mount. Anti-armor missile launcher over right shoulder. Requires 250 resources to unlock and 1 additional resource per mech.

13. Elite infantry status allows for even better reaction time, fire rates, accuracy, and more efficient production of infantry mechs. Requires all previous upgrades to unlock. Eliminates additional cost for equipment upgrades, permanently setting infantry resource cost at five. Unit cost increases to 10 per unit.
