The Tuskegee Airmen | US History | WW2

Before the Tuskegee Airmen could take on Nazi fighter pilots, they had to fight racism at home from military leaders who wanted them grounded to a country that questioned their worth. This is the untold story of the Black pilots who rose from segregation and doubt to become the most requested escort squadron in WWII. Led by Benjamin O. Davis Jr., the Redtails proved every doubter wrong as a group of young Black men dared to take to the skies and rewrite history.

Comments

Extra history is acting like FDR really made a difference with racial equality since he was more than willing to work with rascist democratic politicians who fought to preserve segregation and white supremacy for the new deal and during his tenure in office. Feels a little bit like erasure?
