That's what we really love about this series! So much history around the world was made because of the implications of the Little Ice Age. However, it's not always specifically referenced when talking about those individual events.

Extra History

That's a whole episode on its own! I was really crossing my fingers for "Aleister Crowley: The Wickedest Man in the World" on our last vote too. I'd love to hear more history of witchcraft and the occult. Maybe we can convince Rob to do a one-off sometime😉

Extra History

It’s only now occurring to me that a bit of local history for my home state, called the Children’s Blizzard, may very well have been at the tail end of the Little Ice Age (depending on how you measure it). Crazy to remember just how interconnected the whole dang world is!

Would've loved to hear a bit more about the contents of both demonology and malleus maleficarum, although I guess some of it may not fly on Youtube, given that a primary element of malleus maleficarum is the justification of torture as a means of extracting confession. It was horrible, but also crucial since it meant that accused witches would falsely confess and implicate others under duress, creating an imaginary network of conspiring witches, which only caused the accusations to accelerate and it was a big mess and probably outside the scope of the video but it's such a cool area of history, I'm glad it was at least mentioned.

James VI/I 1566-1625, Scottish King 1567-1625 and English King 1603-1625.

1:25 - James I and VI wasn't alive in 1519; Demonology was published 1597.

That volcanic eruption bit made me think, there would probably be at least a one-off's worth of material to cover on Pompeii.

Actually, it wasn't witches. The Supreme Chicken controls the weather of the world!
