The righteous King's reign would show how power should be wielded to create a Buddhist society and future kings would even invite monks to be a part of their courts. Buddhism expanded across the world along with The Emerald Buddha and change with the cultures it reached.

Also, in my immediate family's defence, we have Viking DNA mixed in with our Irish, which may explain why I feel the need to grab an axe every single time I see a Monastery. [by the way, on this date, George III declared certain elements of Britain's North American Colonies to be in a state of rebellion.]
