You might not know this but David Hueso is a freelance artist and has done some breathtaking art for graphic novels, Warhammer, Wizards of the Coast, Legend of the Five rings, and more. He's been creating some amazing pieces of artwork for us for some time now and his latest piece really blew us away! His inspiration for this piece comes from our 30 Years' War episodes.
To say the least we're ecstatic to be working with such a talented artist and really wanted to do more to feature his artwork. Hence the Metal Poster was born! After looking at this piece and wanting to highlight it in the best way possible we decided to offer it as an 18x18 embossed metal print!
What is embossed metal? Well, it's when parts of a metal sheet have been raised to create a design. This coupled with the detailed art printed over the sheet will not only give it a 3D look but also a luminous glow, adding vibrance to the piece. Just like when painters used to use oil paints on copper, which brought a realistic feel to the faces painted on the metal.
This was the final form we had envisioned for this masterpiece. Which we hope to bring to your home. Preorders are up at our store HERE but something of this magnitude is not something we can produce alone. So if we don't receive enough interest by the 17th we'll have to think about going in a different direction for the piece.
Let us know in the comments what you think about the 4 Horsemen artwork by David! So far it's one of our faves!
