Ibn Battuta - The Great Traveler - Extra History - #1

Ever since we mentioned him in the Mali series, we've been dying to talk about Battuta. As expected from a guy who wrote a 1000 page travelogue, Ibn Battuta's story is very cool, but the dude has 0 chill.

IDidn't you already do a series on Ibn Batuta? Still worth looking again. This is great, and I love your sense of humor. :D

Thank you for looking. :)

I tried looking up the book on Amazon and there was no ebook version.

Really hyped for this series!

When last mentioned, Ibn Battuta was the 14th century equivalent of an obnoxious tourist. Now that he's got his own series, he seems also like the 14th century equivalent of Hugh Hefner. I'd say Jayanegara as well, but Battuta wasn't interested in his step-sisters.

700 years later, and we still have judge-y Battutas in the world

Coincides with me starting the BBC's Around The World In 80 Days starring Michael Palin, as well as, as mentioned before, lambing season. [no lambs yet, but we have had a Calf and a litter of piglets so far.]
