Love that you took the time to examine the economic context in addition to the political events! I also appreciated the rundown of the Plantagenet dynasty. That contextualization is really valuable given that the Plantagenets aren't exactly what you'd expect when thinking of "English Monarchy" from a modern vantage point. Also props to the guest narrator (and writer?), great delivery of the content. Looking forward to the next one!

People don’t go to war regarding the side of a monarchy anymore, warfare is entirely different and foreign countries tend to get involved in wars and civilians leave. I mean UK could theoretically have a civil war (extremely unlikely however) but it would be so different it could not be called a modern War of the Roses.
