Sunday Progress Report

Hi ^_^ I've still been having issues with poor sleep :/ so decided this week to focus on some outstanding tasks, I also did get some work done on Staying In Eating Out and added an new cam angle. Mainly time was weighted towards activates that I can more easily do when tired.

As it was almost done, I spent a few days doing the dynamics and sim on Basted Otter, also tried out something new, now the fur not only gets darker it also gets clumped/matted and shiny, I've included a few screenshots this will now be rendering over night and I'll post it up next Sunday (or however much has rendered by then)

After getting the fox fluffy I thought why not recreate the 'just the right height' image. However after loading in the Otter his fur just looked bad in comparison to the newly done fox. Instead of redoing the Otters fur on the current version I decided why not updated him. So the otter now has topology to support the Automated Stretching System along with the fully integrated junk (not sure what I'm going to have as an alt mode for the otter will need to think about it) and a new more detailed groom.

Also added in some adjustments to the foxes fur, such as softening down the clumping and blending the part lines a bit better (esp around the tail area) and have re-rendered those images, and added some color grading this time (was going to do so last time but was half asleep when making the post)

As the fur is a new thing that I'm playing with I'm sure more things will change and refine as we go along (and I will get around to actually redoing the 'Just the right height' image at some point in future)

I'm still not 100% and the tiredness has caused a few mistakes that ate hours but I'm getting on with things. location creation will be rolled over again (I really am sorry I just hope that working on the new fluffier characters makes up for it) and the coming week I'll try and focus just working on SIEO p3 even with the tiredness and resuming the Executive Producer polls and side activates when I'm feeling more like myself.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FILES: I've started to run into the 200mb upload limit of patreon (which I found out about when making this post)  so what I'm going to do for the time being (and potentially going forward) is create split archive .zip files for anything above 200mb.

to open these files download all the pieces make sure they are all in the same directory before you try to view/extract the content e.g.

c:\downloads\file.zip

c:\downloads\file.z01

c:\downloads\file.z02

then just open the .zip file (in the example above that would be c:\downloads\file.zip)

Windows 10 should be able to open these fine (and any archive manager worth it's salt) but if you have problems with the files please contact me directly via PM and I'll sort out an alternative solution. (again this is a quick fix for a problem I didn't know I had when I started writing this progress report, if this causes problems for anyone I'll look for alternative solutions)

Thanks for the info, I could look at one of the many file hosters but then the problem becomes keeping all the links alive and reuploading when they go down along with potential issues caused by ISP level blocks to certain file hosts Splitting and keeping everything here avoids all that, however it is the sort of thing I will look to do should anyone have a problem with the split files.

To get around the file size limit, you could post the file to something like Mega.nz or DropBox and put a link to it in your update. Just a potential option in case you didn't want to have to split things.
