(Sorry if this is a touch late, just became an $8 Patron!) I'd love to see an episode clearing up some of the misconceptions a lot of westerners have about the Great Wall of China. For example, the fact that it isn't a single wall running for 2000 miles, but a whole series of fortifications that was built over the course of thousands of years. Or that it's almost impossible to see from space without magnification. That kind of thing. It probably wouldn't make for a whole series, but maybe a one-off episode!

I submitted the Haitian Revolution, for the second or third time now.

Brian Rose

When is the drawing?

While we're on people with "the great" after their name I proposed Ashoka and the spread of Buddism through India

Gabriel Nichols

Iron Chancellor FTW

Pavel Yakushevich

Personally, I think the Great Northern War in general would be a nice topic. Admittedly, though, I'm more familiar with the Russian side of the story.

I know it's not going to be chosen but i really want to see Napoleon during the Napoleonic Wars

Nicolas Lozano

Marcus Furius Camillus? Please? He wasn't called the second founder of Rome for nothing.

Svennie

I'm putting up King Charles XII of Sweden. The last king of Sweedish Empire who led his army against Denmark, Poland, and Russia.

Tyler McMann

I'm putting up Henry II and the Angevin dynasty that ruled over England and most of France. I'd love to see his relationship with his sons, Thomas Becket and Eleanor of Aquitaine :)

SparkyDJM1

Putting up the Vikings this time :)

Charlie West

Would be good, but probably would be done as backstory for episodes about the two global wars over succession the Habsburgs' deaths in Spain and Austria caused

Jessica Cheeri

What about a little overview how House Habsburg came to inherit so much land across Europe.

Jonathan Luoto

I went with Sir Robert Peel, the creator of what we think of today as the police force. Police are the kind of thing we take for granted, and it seems particularly relevant today with all the law-enforcement related issues that are cropping up.

MrBreaksIt

Went for an interesting one a great empire that rose and fell spectacularly, the Khmer Empire and the Golden city of Angkor

William Warren

My usual for a while now - Navajo/Diné People, which I've typed so often into that little box it's on auto-complete for me.

Stephen

As always, feel free to share what suggestion YOU made here in the comments, if you would like to discuss it with other history fans!
