Dan Harmon simplified Joseph Campbell's monolith, The Heroes Journey. He surmised that society needs actual people to go on journies into the unknown and come back with ideas. That's why people like you are so important. Take James story on extra credits for example; those letters to his nephew's resonate with me not only because I do concept art for games & films but it's our evolutionary need to journey into our subconscious and stimulate them with new , so thanks for sharing

2016-12-11 00:15:39 +0000 UTCFunny story about Gregor MacGregor, he was one of the greatest con men of his age, and certainly one of the most audacious. His scheme was the Poiyas scheme. He made up a completely fictional country with full documents, a phony Parliament, even uniforms for its phony military. He would sell investors on positions and interests in this fictitious country, and when the marks would be taken to the location in Central America, he abandoned them to their fate. Gives you a sense for just how different the world was at that time.
