2015-06-15 04:42:53 +0000 UTCIf it makes you feel better about the flag, the colony was actually part of the Dutch East India Company, not the Dutch Government. The Dutch East India Company had its own flag which followed the Red white blue model, not the orange white blue as it was never a part of the House of Orange. However the flag also had a small VOC on it, so still wrong :p
