I'm on the fence about this anime. It's fun and I'm curious where it's going, but at the same time there are some weak points too. It could be that I'm not paying enough attention. 1: Where did the sword in his inventory come from, when he was fighting the wolves in a previous episode? Did I miss that, or is it a deus machina sword? I'm hoping there is an explanation, but so far it feels a bit simple. 2: Did I miss the episode where Main Character was talking to the mentor (guy who lost his arm)? I don't remember the talks they keep showing flashbacks to. It feels like they're pulling stuff out of thin air to try and make it deeper than it is. Could've been proper foreshadowing, but it feels pretty weak storytelling now.
