2024-11-23 23:22:49 +0000 UTCI honestly get you, but I would be extremely dumb to point that out if I saw the show before. I swear on my own life I have never seen it before haha. I have only seen DBZ (and Super but don't remember the stuff anymore) and read the manga Berserk. I saw Pokemon back in the day and same with Yugioh but I forgot almost everything regarding those two. That's all the anime that I have watched in my life :) Naruto too but just 2 or 3 episodes so I don't count that.

The English dub took some liberties with regard to how he viewed his upbringing; in the original Japanese version, he recalls "My parents were decent and kind people; it was what you could call, an ideal family." He's awful, no doubt, but it comes through a bit more clearly in the original that he places that on himself and not the people who raised him (which I do think is an important distinction for a villain to make)... Anyways, fun reaction as always! I'm so glad you two are enjoying the show so much! Three episode week was a real treat!
