2024-10-09 22:42:18 +0000 UTCI grew up on the english Bruce falconer dub I wouldn't want it any other way. The japanese version seemed dull when I watched it. The music seemed like mickey mouse but that's just my opinion I know people that cry over the jap version. It just don't do it for me.

2024-10-09 20:58:19 +0000 UTCEh, different strokes for different folks. People complain that the dub puts music for scenes where the OG was silent or that it doesn't fit. Or even that Gohan didn't need an inner monologue before going SSJ2 like when he was silent in the Japanese version. Both can be true. It seems like whatever you grew up watching is what you like more. Like you, I grew up with DBZ and Yu-Gi-Oh dubbed, but I do admit certain voices can be weird and the Japanese are very professional, so there's that. That's a quirk, if you ask me XD They cut the murder stuff in Kai. Two stones with one bird if you consider the gun stuff filler. I'm not remembering, but they likely did the same when it aired on Toonami, but then again, times were different back then. A rated PG movie like Jaws would be rated R today. I think Buu's house is supposed to be modeled after a dog? How ironic. And good gods, Satan, put a ring on it already! He's making himself the perfect housewife.
