2024-06-11 21:48:57 +0000 UTCWhen Goku allowed Frieza to go 100%, he wanted to embarrass him, but he did have a good read on him and to be fair, he did better in the manga. Vegeta here had no idea how much stronger Cell would become. He IS the hype in his own mind, so he's not expecting anyone to surpass him, except for Goku in the back of his mind. I don't blame people for their mistakes, but they should pay for them and learn from them. Vegeta on the other hand is a broken record. It always seems to be the same old story with him. I do admire that he doesn't stay down for long and actually puts in the training, however, he's so arrogant that he won't accept doing things someone else's way, which impairs him. Despite that, he does seem to have the most character growth of anyone in the series.
