Well.. Got a 5090.. But...

Alright. I got a ZOTAC 5090 over a week ago from newegg. I havn't talked about it until now after testing for a few days. However, I am debating if I want to keep it. What do you guys think?

-The ZOTAC 5090 costs me 2.9k (3.2k after taxes) dollars. Had to borrow 700 dollars from family. First time borrowing money from family, and I kinda don't want to it because it feels crappy.
-It uses double the wattage of my 4080 (180-200 watts versus 380-420 watts) and it is only 30%-80% faster. Not sure what causes the large discrepancy in speed. I looked at the type of scene and blender version. Can't figure it out. I posted a spread sheet of all the times and % faster. Half the time it renders at less than 50% faster.
-Because it uses more wattage, it makes my computer much warmer. My CPU is overheating more (95C) and my NVME are 10C hotter. Since my PC and room is hotter I would have to turn on AC more often which would also cost me more money =(.

I posted a spreadsheet of the time and percent faster between 4080 and 5090. I tested 10 old animations and with same settings and frame. I mostly do Optix because its always faster, but I did CUDA rendering as well just to see the time. It took me a good 2-3 days to do testing.

I gotta make the decision this week if I want to return it or not. I am still looking for a 5090 Founders Edition which sell for 2,000usd but its super hard/rare to get (seems one a month drop from best buy and gone very fast. I've been at every single drop but no luck T_T since I wake up every day to refresh Best buy since its pretty much random). Or hope that the 5090's will drop in price since they are plenty in stock now at 3,000usd with less people buying. If I can get a 5090 for lower price it will also be great for paying for that AC usage.

In short term, I could return the one I have to newegg and buy another 3,000usd one from best buy and use it for 2 months (2 month return policy). Other than that, if I do return the zotac that I have now, I cant do the Yuffie train animation until I get another 5090 or nvidia GPU with more VRAM.

What do you guys think? 3000 dollar price tag with 30%-80% faster rendering speed and with much more power usage/heat. Faster render speeds is nice. It means I can put out more animations. Basically gonna be poor/broke for a few months lol. Sorry for the wall of text hehe.

Well.. Got a 5090.. But... Well.. Got a 5090.. But...

water block sounds like an extra few hundred dollars? XD.. Not sure how people who use the full 600 watt deal with the heat o.o. My rendering is only 400watts. i dont think adding in 3 more side fans will do very much.
