Post-Alien Biospheres Q&A
Added 2024-10-27 16:39:26 +0000 UTCEvery time I do a Q&A, I always forget how long they take to edit. This one turned out much longer than I expected, and I really got carried away at several points. I hope it's at least vaguely interesting.
Also, for some reason, the cards that link to the videos I mention at various points aren't showing up. I want to see if I can fix that before the video goes public, which should hopefully be some point in the next week.

Great video, it clears up a good amount of misunderstandings about your works that I have seen around. When talking about the essences in the begninning it would be nice if you had an image of their icons, given some people might not remember the names of them even though they remember the essece itself (people like me). At 27:20 you talk about how Aan and Aang sound very similar, and fun fact: in the life action movie of Avatar The Last Airbender they managed to get Aang's name wrong and so in the movie it is actually pronounced like Aan. 33:08 XD So to the question of how you would show the neotects language. Thanks for answering, I can see it will be hard to showcase a language that can't be heard properly which was also why I was curious. Hope you figure something out, I would try to throw ideas around but I am sure that you and other conlangers are more qualified for that than I. Though perhaps some inspiration could come from how humans are learning the orca dialects since. Show the frequencies we can't hear, and then give them letters?
