Thinking About Mara
Added 2025-05-18 17:00:20 +0000 UTCSometimes I think about Mara and it makes me really sad. She’s a character who doesn’t appear much, but she left a mark on me. She was so sweet, so brave… and you could tell she had a huge heart.
I always wondered what happened right before the end. There’s a scene where she’s all bandaged up, like she fought or went through something really intense, and we never really get an explanation. I was left with so many questions… who helped her? Who was with her? Why did she end up so alone?
Mara’s friends. Who were they? Where were they? Why do we never see them? It really intrigues me, and also makes me sad, because it feels like she had to carry everything on her own in the end.
Mara didn’t get the ending she deserved, but she was a true hero. She made a hard choice to protect others, and thanks to her, Adora had a chance.
I wish we had learned more about her story. 😔

Ah I feel this! she lost light hope! Got betrayed and attacked by her own people. Who knows how long Mara actually lived for but its known that She-ra has a long life span and having to fight the first ones after being apart of them for so long and now the re-programmed Light Hope, it hits hard for me. Mara was such a sweetheart who suffered by the hands of her own people for doing the right thing. Not letting Millions of people die and a planet used as whole weapon not even horde prime of doing something like that!! He kept some planets coexisting just under his rule like Eyrlandia (or however its spelled). Were the first ones just as bad as Horde prime? Atleast prime didn’t seem to want to syphon the planets for magic or magical weapon. So Mara story is definitely intriguing and gives into a more deeper view into she ra lore and head canons
