The velvety drawl of Prime’s voice drifted not from the turned chair, but from a shadowy sitting area to the left that Catra hadn’t even noticed. She and Glimmer jumped at the sound of it, freezing like a pair of mice in the middle of an open field. A lamp clicked on, bathing Prime’s sharp features in cool white light. He smiled like a hawk. “Anything for my favorite little sister.”
