Monthly Suggestion: Catra and Adora meet (Halfmoon Au)

˜”*°•.˜”*°• It all started with a beep in Bow's comm pad. The program they used to track First One's ruins detected a strange activity in Whispering Woods, so Adora mounted Swift Wind and they go flying to the coordinates.

After a while navigating the dense woods, with weeds so thick and tall it was difficult to walk around them, they reached a clearing where they found an old, wore down building almost hidden in vines. Adora let Swift Wind leave to stretch his wings while she finish exploring. She can't concentrate when he is talking all the time, chattering about horse rights and so on.

Meanwhile, three sets of eyes stealthly watched Adora.

"What's that woman doing here?"

"What brought her here?"

They were there because someone had destroyed one of the portals to their kingdom, and it was imperative they fixed it soon. Was that woman responsible of the destruction? They knew a military organization called the Horde was terrorizing Etheria, was that woman one of them? And what the hell was that noisy winged beast that was with her a while ago?

Then, the three Magicats stare in awe how the woman transforms the bracelet she was wearing into a sword.

"Oh! Shiny!" squeaks one of them.

"That sword looks familiar... I think I saw it in a book." comments the other.

"She is a Princess, that's enough to me. We may hunt something tonigh" whispers the third.

The Sword of Protection seemed to shine even brighter in that spot of the woods. Adora kept walking, using the sword as a makeshift radar until she found a rumble between the weeds. The three Magicats held their breaths.

"She's getting close to the gate!!"

"She's gonna find the portal!"

All of a sudden a strange portal, similar to a hologram, opened in front of Adora. She extended her arm to touch it, and discovered she was able to pass through the hologram. It looked very similar to The First One's tech, but more ancient...

"Stop her" spat one of the Magicats, and the three of them jumped to action.

Adora was too entranced by that mysterious portal to notice she was about to get ambushed. •°*”˜.•°*”˜
