To our princess's relief, her 'brave' prince arrived just in time. The dragon was just as surprised as she was. He was almost certain the idiot wouldn't show. He was actually starting to feel bad for the little princess. She hated this prince, and she was being forced to marry him. Maybe he could fly her away to some far away land, or maybe he could eat her to 'save' her. His stomach was certainly voting for the latter.

But the dragon did not have to make that choice: The prince did show and, in a very dumb move, came alone. Perhaps his ego got the best of him. The dragon caught him without much of a fight, and the princess was kind enough to help remove the indigestible armor. By the time the moon was up, the dragon was finally enjoying a human treat.

To the dismay of both involved kingdoms, neither the prince or princess returned to the castle the next day, and search parties found nothing except their clothing.
