I found the snake!!
This was an attempt at a realistic image using Iray. I love the Iray engine, especially for its realism. I just wish I had the computer to do scenes like this all the time.
Iray render tip: Iray has this interesting feature where the render will automatically stop after X number of seconds. While this may be useful for animations, where each frame is only rendered for a specified amount of time, it isn't very useful for these single renders. When I set this up to render, I let my laptop run all night. However, I forgot about setting that render time. So the computer was on for 6+ hours, but only spent 2 hours actually rendering.
To prevent it from stopping prematurely, go to the render tab. Under the advanced Iray settings -> progressive rendering -> Max Time, set that to zero. Daz has a nice feature where if you do not want a set limit, set that property to zero. That will allow the program to continue rendering until the image is actually done.
