Hungry Harvock finds a few people to talk to. Course its no fun when they don't talk back.

Learned something new while doing this one: how to increase the quality of the render. I know, I should have known that a long time ago, but now I was able to see the difference. While rendering the first picture, I noticed a lot of fuzz. I did not like it, so I tried something different to increase the image quality.

Under the render tab in Daz Studio, there is a 'sampling' bar, with 'Max ray trace depth', 'Pixel Samples (X)', 'Pixel Samples (Y)', and 'Shadow Samples'. By default, the pixel samples X and Y are set to 4. I set them both to 16. This greatly increases the quality of the render at the expense of render times.

When the samples were set to 4, the render time was 12 minutes. When set to 16, the render time was closer to 2.5 hours.

You can see the differences between the two images in the attachments. "The Secret differences" has both the low quality render and high quality render with the major differences shown. In both images, only the pixel samples were changed.
