Happy Holidays everyone!

I hope no one else caught the head chest cold thing that I did on Thanksgiving. Since then my entire household has gotten sick and we are working through recovery.

Work is inching along on book 3, much slower than anticipated because of the sickness. At least I’m finally starting to feel better, so that helps with getting words in. The brain fog was the hardest because I couldn’t remember side character names.

I am beyond that at this point, which is good.

Right now is the perfect time to start a fire, curl up in a blanket and drink hot cocoa. But here it is still too warm to start a fire, and I’m still drinking as much tea as possible with honey to help my throat.

I literally have some wildflowers still blooming in my garden which is worrisome. Hopefully, the low temps we should get later this week will get things back to normal in the garden.

Again have a great holiday season, and you’ll hear from me in the new year all about book 2.
