Hand Tutorial
Added 2020-02-18 16:39:31 +0000 UTCHands are tricky, but actually fairly easy and incredibly simple to get good at. The reason being that you have them for reference at all times! Remember, the only way to truly understand the form and anatomy is to draw it over and over. If you find anything confusing, please let me know. I'm sure there must be some things I've written that might confuse you, and I'm willing to answer any questions you might have!
Note:
In the side profile of the palm, I said it can be broken into 3. I meant 3 as in the creases of the palm. However, the palm bends in two because technically your fingers bend at the upper portion of your palm. Technically, the palm itself doesn't bend at all since the bones in the hand can't bend. My image shows that but what I wrote doesn't. Sorry for the confusion.
