I wasn't much of a Kobe fan prior to the tragic incident. However, lately, I decided to learn more about the man many praise to be the best to ever play the sport. Upon doing my own research, I too have come to realize that the praise was well deserved. Mamba mentality, a phrase that was unbeknownst to be was actually something I try to live by. In an age of instant gratification and short term goals, we don't see many who actually strive to be the absolute best at what they do. Many say they want to be the best. Many say they will be the best, and almost everyone knows what it takes to be the best. But what's most important is doing the things required to be the best at what you do. Life is too short to not give your all to what you love. For me, it's found in art. For you, it may be something else. Cherish the struggles, the failures, the pain and disappointments. Only then will reaching your goal truly feel worth it. I hope you all have a great day and do a little of what you love doing. <3
