The drink had been identified as uttaberry juice—a tart, blueberry-like fruit native to Betazed, often used in crepes and pies. Either she was simply a fan of exotic alien juices, or my theory about her Betazoid heritage was looking more likely.
“It’s uttaberry juice, from Betazed. I just love it,” she said with a bright, practiced gush. “My grandmother drank it constantly—I guess I developed a taste for it.”
