After a short break, I'm back writing. The next chapter takes its inspiration from two sources: first, this fantastic piece Fraylim did recently; and two, Chapter 16 of Stephen King's novel Billy Summers. If you've read that novel, you've got an idea of where this might be going (and if you haven't, I highly recommend it. I wasn't much of a fan of King's writing, and this one convinced me I was wrong.) I read it a little over two years ago (I think), and I've been sitting on this chapter ever since.
