Animation Drafts 1-4
Added 2025-07-14 03:59:04 +0000 UTCBeen getting into animation since I found out Krita has a pretty good and simple software for it, so this was my first good swing back into animating! Though I still like the first half of the animation a lot, I didn't fully script out the second half, and I wasn't really able to get it to a point that really made me satisfied, since it really lacked the weight and swing of the first motion. So I think I'll put this on hold and do a total overhaul from the ground up to make a more fluid set up with less jank. But in the meantime it was a great learning experience to get the rust off, and I think I'll be moving on to trying some other animation ideas I had!

Yea there was this sort of bobbing thing that added since when porting the frames to Krita, it would off center them, but I was curious how it'd look with them more aligned, but it sort of took out a lot of the motion with it. Also I think this is a case where the messy, sketchy lines really add some vague detail that make it work way more then cleaned line art does.
