Addressing the Patreon situation
Added 2019-06-29 10:47:09 +0000 UTCDidn't want to do this, but I feel like it's necessary. As of late, Patreon has started cracking the whip on adult content and content creators... right now they've been targeting primarily pages that specialize in hypnosis and transformations, with the excuse they violate their "non-consensual" rules, but many worries that they're going the Tumblr way, but just being more sneaky about it and gradually taking down adult stuff, rather than doing it in one go, to mitigate negative buzz.
Nothing so far has happened to me, or to creators I follow and support, but I'm keeping an eye on the situation. For now, nothing's gonna change. Might just be a case of Patreon removing a few creators who made too much noise, like when they kicked off Studio Fow, and unlike Tumblr, Patreon walked back from a few bad decisions in the past already. If I see the situation getting worse, I'll probably open a backup page on SubscriberStar, but I plan to stay here as long as I'm allowed to.
Aaaand with that said, back to drawing. Mostly I just wanted to reassure you that one way or the other I'm sticking around and I'm gonna be fine. See you in a few days with the next bunch of colored pics!

Unfortunately a no porn/adult content policy is going to happen sooner or later with Patreon, so it's good that you have planned out a back-up contingency plan.

2019-06-29 11:42:27 +0000 UTCI've met some creators. For safety, they don't charge for patreon. Just post a monthly introduction on it, and then they put their monthly work on Gumroad, setting different grades and prices. In this way, sponsors can buy the price level they want every month. If things get worse in the future, I think it's a good idea.

2019-06-29 11:37:07 +0000 UTCGumroad is more of a shop than a subscription thing tho. If I do more picture sets of sequences in the future, I'll probably open a shop there too.
