Quick Health Update 10-22-25

Hey all, just wanted to leave a quick update with my situation. I was able to get in to see a doctor, and apparently I have an infection and an ulcer on my eye, which feels about as pleasant as it sounds. The long and short of it is, I'll be fine and so will my eyesight. The doc gave me antibiotics and steroid eyedrops. The bad news is that it's still too difficult for me to read text on a screen, so I can't really write, edit, or proofread at the moment (even proofreading this update is a challenge). It's a bit of a problem for me since not only am I writing and posting DOR on a schedule, but the wide release of My Big Goblin Space Program Book 1 is right around the corner on Nov 11th and I'm in the process of editing books 2 and 3.

I'm going to take the time I need to get my eye healed up properly, and I hope to be able to get normal updates rolling again in a week or two. If it ends up being longer, I'll make another update. Also, I totally understand if you want to put subs on hold until chapters are coming out again. It's especially frustrating because the story is written out to chapter 107, but I just physically can't ensure a level of editing quality high enough to post.
